The Winchester JournalFannie Cecil Good, daughter of James and Barbara Cecil was born Dec 22 1849. Died at Parker, Apr 23, 1885. Aged 35 yrs 4 mo and 1 day. The deceased was married to John M. Good, May 27, 1871. She joined the M. E. Church when near her 14 yr., in which she lived a consistent and faithful member until death. Although an invalid for several years she nobly withstood her affliction. Funeral services were conducted at the Parker church by Rev. J. McCarty of the Selma Circuit, after which her remains were followed by a large concourse of relatives and friends to their last resting place at the Windsor Cemetery; there to await the calling of those that were redeemed through the blood of Christ. May her life be as an example a fit path to be followed by all those that remain unconscious of the time that they also must die.
