Norma Webster Flood, 84

MUNCIE - Norma Webster Flood, 84, died Tuesday afternoon at Westminster Village. She was born in Dunkirk the daughter of Roy R. and Zella King Webster. She grew up in Farmland, graduated from Farmland High School in 1937, and attended Indiana Business College in Muncie.
She was a homemaker and at one time was employed at Warner Gear Credit Union. Mrs. Flood was a member of First Baptist Church; Order of Eastern Star in Farmland; Psi Iota Psi, and an avid bridge player she belonged to several bridge clubs.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Gregory K. and Deborah Flood, Westfield; two grandchildren, Brian Flood, (wife, Natalie), New Philadelphia, Ohio, and Kari Matthews, (husband, Ben), Normal, Illinois; four great grandchildren, Jacob and Joshua Flood, and Hannah and Lily Matthews; and her brother, Keith Webster, Muncie.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Flood, who died in 1991.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday in The Meeks Mortuary Chapel with her grandson, Rev. Brian G. Flood, and Dr. William W. Noblitt officiating
Entombment will follow in Elm Ridge Mausoleum. Friends may call at The Meeks Mortuary from 4 until 8 p.m. Thursday. Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society. Online condolences may be sent to meeksmortuary@sbcglobal.net.
