UNION CITY, Ind., July 31 - In less than twenty-four hours from the time that he killed his wife and then himself, the remains of  Samuel DeMont  was taken to the little country graveyard near Hill Grove, northwest of here, and laid beside other members of his own family.  There were no relatives present and no mourners.  A few attended out of idle curiosity and helped the undertaker.  A brief funeral service was held.
The funeral of  Mrs. Sylvia DeMont,  the murdered woman, will take place Thursday morning at 10 o'clock from the late home.  Several of her relatives will be here and also many friends from Parker City.
The coroner of Darke county, after viewing the remains of the dead, rendered a verdict according to the facts - murder and suicide
