            DEETER Daniel a deaf and dumb man about 60y of age who lived 3mi N.E. of this place in Jay Co. started to Ridgeville on foot last Fri. got on the G.R. & I R.R. track and about 2mi from here was overtaken by the train and was struck by the pilot and thrown clear from the track killing him instantly. He was not married.
