CONYERS-Charley C. son of Jonathan and Nora Conyers,
departed this life April 24, 1885, aged one year and twenty-four days.
Many friends and neighbors followed the dear one to his last resting plance at
the Buena Vista Cemetery, where funeral services were conducted by I. V. D. R.
Johnson. The parents have the sympathy of the community as Charley was a
bright sweet child and loved by all, and the only child of the bereaved
parents, but he now rests in the arms of him who said "suffer little
children to come untio me." The flower that bloomed for such a short
time in earth faded away under the blight of disease, but is transplanted in
the flower garden of Heaven where diesease never enters, there to bloom forever
and ever. While we miss his smiling face in the family of earth; he is not
missed in the family above. May the family look to that home and be
comforted with the thought that their darling is with Jesus. I.V.D.R.J.
