Don W. Comer, 65

MODOC - Don W. Comer, 65, Modoc, Indiana, passed away Wednesday morning September 20, 2006 at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.
He was born August 3, 1941 in Winchester, IN to William and Florence Comer. He graduated from Driver High School in Winchester in 1960. He went on to marry Beverly Booher on June 7, 1963.
He was a tool and die maker and worked at Duffy Tool and Stamping in Muncie for 10 years before he retired.
He was a member of the Winchester Friends Church and the Muncie Coin and Stamp Club.
He had many things he enjoyed but none more than spending time with his family and seven granddaughters.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Florence Comer of Winchester; his loving wife of 43 years, Beverly Comer; their son, Tony Comer (wife, Lisa) of Redkey; and their two daughters, Carla Peacock (husband, Chris) of Winchester, and Kerry Sayre (husband, Chris) of Winchester; and seven granddaughters, Emily, Morgan, and Lauren Peacock, Kaitlyn and Haley Sayre, and Ashleigh and Casey Comer.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Comer; and his brother, Edwin Comer.
A funeral service to celebrate Don's life will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 23, 2006 at Thomas Memorial Chapel, 108 E. Sherman Street in Lynn, IN with Pastor Ron Ferguson officiating.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to services on Saturday at Thomas Memorial Chapel.
In loving memory of Don, memorial donations can be given to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 291, Winchester, IN 47394.
