         BUTTERWORTH --  Children of  Henry E. and Ann Nettie Butterworth  who married  David Hippe  who with the mother survive. They died 7/25/1885.

         Thomas Butterworth  died 7/25/1885 an old citizen of Whie River Twp. Died suddenly at the res. of his son-in-law, David Hippenheimer  age 65y 10m 6d.  Afflicted several yrs. past and was nearly helpless Aug. 5 paper.  Born Baltimoe, Md. 9/19/1819 where his father d. 1826. His mother d. 3/18/1835.  Both parents b. England also his older sis. and bro. The fam. after the death of parents emig. to Dayton, OH in 1836 and to Randolph Co., IN in 1838.  He was a wagon and carriage maker.  Married Susan Edwards 3/22/1845, d/o  Henry and & Polly Edwards, bur. Whiteriver Cem.
