Avis E. Bousman, 77
----------
          PARKER CITY - Avis E. Bousman  passed away Tuesday, March 16, at 11:15 p.m. Born March 4, 1927, in Blountsville, to Ira & Linnie (Tharp) Cross. Avis was a homemaker.
          She was preceded in death by her husband, George O. Bousman, who died November 23, 1993, and her parents, Ira & Linnie Cross and son, George Bousman Jr.
          She is survived by Son, Randall (Wife: Tammy), Farmland; 2 Daughters, Laura Jellison (Husband: Joe), Indianapolis, and Jennifer Bousman, Parker City; 2 Grandsons, Michael Jellison (Wife: Jennifer), Indianapolis, and Jayme Klisavage, Farmland; Sister, Alice Cox, Winchester; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be at Walker Funeral Home, Friday, March 19, from 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.
          Funeral Services will be Saturday March 20, at 10:30 AM. with burial at Fountain Park Cemetery, Winchester, Gary Taylor officiating.

          Mattie Clare Owens, daughter of Fred and Elsie Owens, was born in Randolph county, Ind., May 24, 1906, departed this life March 21, 1930, age 23 years, 9 months, and 28 days.
          She was united in marriage to  Troy Bousman, Nov. 17, 1924. To this union two sons were born, Iven William and Merl Keith.
          She leaves to mourn her decease, husband, two sons, mother and father, one brother, three grandparents, and besides these a host of relatives and friends.
          She was converted and united with New Liberty Christian church when quite young and remained an active worker in this church so long as she remained in this neighborhood and when removed to the Saratoga neighborhood she continued these activities as opportunity afforded.
          She delighted in doing service for others and many learned to love her because of her genial spirit and loving disposition.
          For twelve weeks she had been a constant suffered, but with it all she retained a patient spirit and as the end drew near her trust in God deepened and before passing away she gave clear testimony of her peace with Him and a willingness to go out to meet Him.
          While sorrow fills our hearts we still trust that He that doeth all things well will give us to see that His ways are best and will bring us to himself and to meet with those we have loved on earth.
