          Services were held today for Linda Sue Bates, 51, 623 N. Pierce St., Ridgeville, who died Friday morning at St. Vincent Randolph Hospital, Winchester.
          Burial took place in Fountain Park Cemetery, Winchester.
          Born March 18, 1952 in Davy, W. Va., to Vernie L. and Girtha (Thompson) Frazier, she attended Winchester High School.
          A homemaker, she attended Calvary Assembly of God Church, Union City.
          Surviving are her mother, Girtha, Union City; two sons, Kevin Lawrence, Union City, and Frankie Bates, Ridgeville; two daughters, Mrs. Chad (Becky) Puderbaugh, Union City, and Julie Bates, Ridgeville; a sister, Ann Frazier, Muncie; and several nieces and nephews.
          Walker Funeral Home, Winchester, handled the arrangements.

          Clarence Bates  d. 3/7/1884 at Brightwood, Ind. age 8m 12d., the s/o John & Nell Bates. The remains was brought here for burial on the following day. Service by Rev. Wm. H. Green at the Hopewell Church.  They were former Farmland residents.
