Christian Batchfield  d. 3/1/1877. Born in Oldenburg Germany 4/23/1797. He came to America in 1846 and lived in Philadelphia, Pa for 2 yrs. then came to Winchester, Ind. He was in the show trade. He was a soldier in the Napoleanic Wars. In the Battle of Waterloo.
