JUNE, 1862. **** Will of Alexander Miller
"Do make and publish this my last Will and Testament.
First I direct that my body be decently interred and that my funeral be conducted in a manner corresponding with my Estate and Situation in life and as to such worldly Estate as it has pleased God to intrust me with I despose of the same as follows:
I direct first that all of my just debts and funeral expenses be paid as soon after my decease as possible out of the first money that may come to the hand of my executor from any portion of my Estate and I hereby make and ordain my beloved wife executor of this my last Will and Testament.
I also direct that all of my household furniture and other personal property and real estate to with the west half of the northwest quarter of section ten-and the east half of the east half of the northeast quarter of section nine in township twenty-one of range thirteen east shall be and remain the absolute property of my beloved wife as long as she lives and at her death or decease the aforesaid real and personal shall be the absolute property of my daughter and son Nancy Ann Miller and Silas Miller and further direct that if my wife should choose to not remain my widow that as soon as she married that aforesaid personal and real estate shall be and remain absolute to my daughter Nancy Ann and Silas my son to be divided share and share alike between them.
In witness whereof I Alexander Miller the testator have hereunto set my hand seal the 26th day of December, 1861.
