Randolph County Indiana Deed Book 18, page 169
This Indenture witnesseth that Washington Allbaugh and Eliza A Allbaugh his wife of Randolph County in the State of Indiana Convey and Warrant to Robert Ross of Randolph County in the State of Indiana for the sum of seven hundred dollars the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged the following Real Estate in Randolph County in the State of Indiana to wit:
Commencing on the East line of the West half of the South West quarter of section twenty one 21 in township twenty 20 of Range fifteen 15 East at a point fifty seven 57 rods South of its North East corner thence South with said East line twenty eight 28 rods and twelve12 feet thence West to the West of said section thence North along said section line twenty eight 28 rods and twelve 12 feet thence East to the place of beginning containing about 14 ˝ acres more or less
Also the following described part of the East Half of the South East quarter of Section twenty, 20, in the aforesaid Township and Range to wit : Beginning at a point on the East line of said section fifty seven 57 Rods from the North East Corner of the East Half of the South East quarter thence South on said section line Twenty Eight 28 Rods and twelve 12 feet thence West at a right angle with said section line thirty two 32 Rods thence North parallel with said section line Twenty Eight Rods 28R and twelve feet 12ft thence East to the place of beginning Estimated to contain 5 ˝ acres more or less, the whole containing 20 acres more or less.
