The marriage of Miss Nina Ross, daughter of Mrs. Julia Ross, Kentucky avenue, and Charles P. Underwood also of Crawfordsville, took place on Wednesday night at half after nine o’clock at the home of Anthony Watts, justice of the peace, on Oak Hill road. The single ring ceremony was read by Justice Watts. The young couple are at home to their friends on east Franklin street.[Crawfordsville Journal Review 5 July 1935, page 5]
