Walter Cline ZACHARY 58 died Thursday morning at 1:30 at his home east of Parkersburg. He had been ill 3 years. Born in Montgomery County Sept 21, 1881 Mr. Zachary was the son of Samuel and Elizabeth McMurray Zachary. On Dec 6, 1900 he was united in marriage with Elta Mae Stewart. Surviving are the widow, five sons: Norman, James, Lester, Gerald and Lloyd; a daughter, Mary; six grandchildren and 3 brothers, Sherman, Herman and Herbert. Funeral services will be held at Parkersburg Christian Church at 2 Saturday afternoon and burial will be made at Ladoga cemetery. The body was taken to the funeral home in Roachdale and returned to the family residence on Tuesday afternoon. == kbz

Funeral services for Walter C. Zachary, who died at his home near Parkersburg Thursday morning of last week, were held Saturday afternoon at the Parkersburg Christian church. Burial was made in the Ladoga cemetery. Mr. Zachary was born in Montgomery county September 21, 1881, a son of Samuel and Elizabeth McMurray Zachary, and on December 6, 1900, he was married to Elta Mae Stewart, who survives. Other survivors are five sons; Norman and James Zachary at home; Lester Zachary of Raccoon; Gerald Zachary of Lapland, and Lloyd Zachary of Parkersburg; a daughter Mary at home; six grandchildren and three brothers; Sherman and Herman of Whitesville and Herbert of Ladoga --- thanks so very much to Marilyn Walker for providing these wonderful RT obituaries.
