ZACHARY, Lloyd - Putnam

Lloyd ZACHARY, 50, brother of Lester and Gerald Zachary of Crawfordsville and James Zachary of Roachdale died at 10:45 p. m. Monday in Putnam County Hospital. He was born 1911 and his parents were Mr. and Mrs. Walter Zachary.

He was married to Artie Belle Wilshire and worked for the zinc mill in Greencastle for some time. Other survivors include his mother; his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Barbara Z. Bergen and Miss Jenny Lynn Zachary; a son-in-law John P. Bergen; a sister, Mrs. Mary Smith of Russellville; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Newton Zachary. Mr. Zachary was the son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Mert Wilshire of Waveland.

Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. Thursday in Hopkins and Walton Funeral Home, Greencastle with Rev. Elgin Smith of Sherwood Christian Church officiating; burial in Forest Hills Cemetery, Greencastle.
