YOUNG, Mary Riddle - Putnam

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon for Mrs. Mary E. Young, who died Thursday evening of last week. She had been an invalid for a long period and her condition grew worse in recent weeks. Rev. Cornelius Airhart of New Market in charge of the rites and burial was made in the Bainbridge cemetery. Mrs. Young was the widow of Squire Young, well known here. She was a member of the Baptist church here. Mrs. Young was the sister of Mrs. Susie Perkins, Mrs. Angeline Obenchain, George Riggle and Moses Riggle of near here and Noah Riggle of Miami, Florida, a former Roachdale resident and Henry Riggle of near New Winchester. Surviving also are two daughters, sons, twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Two daughters preceded her in death.   --- thanks muches to Marilyn Walker for her Roachdale Times obits.
