YOUNG, Archie - Putnam

Archie Young, 53, of Rt. 4 Rockville, died while at work at 1 p.m. Monday. He was a foreman at the Allison plant in Indianapolis. He had been born in Parke County Oct. 12, 1909 the son of Ervin and Elizabeth Richardson Young. Survivors, besides his wife, Leona, include two sons, Mike and Richard Young, Brownsburg; a daughter, Mrs. Jo Etta Ash, Greencastle, and a sister, Mrs. Josephine Hinne, Terre Haute and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. T. L. Alderton at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Barnes Mortuary, Rockville and burial will be in Memory Garden. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday. -
