YANT, Isaac - Putnam

Funeral services for Isaac Yant, who died Sunday at the Clay county hospital, were held Tuesday afternoon from the Lawson and Son Funeral Home in Brazil. Burial was in the Owen cemetery. Mr. Yant, a retired boiler fireman and stationary engineer, had resided in Putnam county, near Reelsville. since his retirement in 1936. He was 78 years old. The deceased was a member of the Harmony U. B. church and was affiliated with I. O.O. F. and the Knightsville Lodge, F. & A. M., and was widely known and highly esteemed He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Howaid Harrington, of Williamsburg, IA, and four grandchildren.
