Mrs. Ella B. Wood, wife of Enos A. Wood died on Monday at the residence of her father, Thompson Brown in Cloverdale. Mrs. Wood has been ill for a number of months of consumption which caused her death. The funeral was held yesterday morning at Cloverdale, interment occurring at Forest Hill cemetery in this city. Mr. Wood has the sympathy of his many friends in his bereavement.
Same paper, under Cloverdale news – Mrs. Ella Wood, wife of Enos A. Wood, died here Monday morning at 10 o’clock at the home of her father, Thompson Brown. The remains were taken to Greencastle Wednesday where the burial occurred. Mrs. Wood was born and raised here. She was married to Mr. Wood in 1878. They have lived in and near Greencastle since their marriage. Mrs. Wood leaves her husband, a daughter two years old. She leaves a large circle of friend here to mourn her death, as every one knew her, and to know her was to love her.
