WISE, Emma Nora - Putnam

Emma Nora Wise, 91 of Orlando, Fla formerly of Lima died on the morning of Aug 11, 1997 at Palm Garaden Nursing Home, Orland, Fla. She was born Jan 1, 1906 in Cloverdale to Owen D and Lucinda Harris Shoemaker. She married Maynard Wise who died in December 1971. Mrs. Wise was a homemaker. Survivors include two sons, Marion A (Mildred) Wise of Hampton, VA and Jan F (Patricia Wise of Orlando, Fla; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a son, Larry Wise; a daughter, Barnardine Wise; two brothers, Albert and Harvey Shoemaker and four sisters: Ruby Hockenberry, Effie Leatherman, Anna Boots and Daisy Adams. Services will begin at 10 a.m. today at Siferd Westwood Chapel. The Rev. Howard Allison will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. – kbz
