Thomas W. Wilson, who has been an invalid for a long time, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Emmett Perkins at half past 8 on Wed. morning. Fun. serv. at the Christian Church on Friday (this) morning at 11 o'clock will be in charge of Rev. JC Burkhart, of Crawfordsville. Interment in Maple Ridge Cemetery

Thomas W. Wilson, youngest of seven children of Susannah and William Wilson, one of the pioneer preachers, known as Uncle Billie or "the blind preacher," was born March 31, 1848 and died March 16, 1921 had he lived until the 31st of March he would have been 73 years old. He united with the Christian Church at the age of 16. He was married Dec 18, 1878 to America G. Carrington. He is survived by his wife and three daughters: Mrs. Emmett Perkins and Mrs. Raymond Sharpe of this place and Mrs. Charles A. Spencer of Crawfordsville, 4 grandchildren. One granddaughter, Thelma Spencer, departed this life last May; also three sisters and two brothers; one brother passed away one year ago. Funeral services were held at the Christian Church conducted by Rev. JC Burkhart assisted by Rev. Henry Bell.

Spencer; Rev. and Mrs. JC Burkhart and son, Wendell; Rev. Henry Bell; M/M Theo. Johnson and Mrs. James Shannon of Crawfordsville; M/M Columbus Clodfelter and Miss Cora Carrington of Morton; Mrs. Sam Grimes; M/M Frank Hester and Mr. Milton Carrington, all of Browns Valley; Mrs. Claude Carrington and son, Arthur of Indianapolis; M/M Willis Perkins and Mrs. Alva Waldon of Clinton; Mrs. Garnet Deere of Fincastle; M/M Robert Tapp and son, Lamar of New Market.
