WILSON, John L. - Putnam

Funeral service were held at the Chastain funeral home Tuesday afternoon for John L. Wilson, 65, well known local druggist, who died following a heart attack at his home here Sunday morning. Mr. Wilson had operated a drug store here since 1909. He was born at Brownsvalley August 1, 1874, the son of Samuel and Mary Carrington Wilson. He graduated from the Purdue university school of pharmacy in 1906 and opened his store here three years later. He was a member of Roachdale Lodge No. 602, F. & A. M. Survivors include the widow; two daughters; Mrs. Luis Nickell of Lafayetter and Mrs. Cleo Flinn of Danville, and three grandchildren.
