WILLIAMS, Lee - Putnam

Lee Williams, 80, 530 Anderson St died Thursday evening in Marion County General Hospital.  He was born in Madison Township, the son of Jesse Williams and Eva R. Stone.  He owned and operated a grocery store on Bloomington St for years.  Member of Temple Lodge 47 F&AM. He is survived by wife Vineta (Welsh) Williams and brother Clyde Williams of Indianapolis and a sister Hazel Williams of Florida.  Funeral services are set for Sunday at 2 p.m. at Whitaker Funeral Home, Greencastle. The Rev. Morris Finch, Jr. will be officiating and burial is set for Forest Hills Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Saturday. – kbz
