Jesse Aaron Williams, 88 of Cloverdale, died from natural causes Dec 27, 1999 at Putnam County Hospital in Greencastle. The son of Thomas Henry and Tena Florence (Jones) Williams, he was born Aug 22, 1911 in Putnam County.  He married Helen McNeff June 26, 1932.  She died Dec 30 1974.  On March 6, 1977, he married Daisey Fern (Sanders) Shewmaker, who survives in Cloverdale.  Williams was a self-employed truck driver and farm.  He was a member of the Hurst-Collins Post 281 of the American Legion in Cloverdale, Veterans of Foreign Wars 1550, Jesse M. Lee Post at Greencastle; and was a former member of Putnam County Council for 12 years and a former member of Moose Lodge 1592 of Greencastle. – kbz
