Funeral services for Mrs. Lee Whitted, age about 36 years, of Rockville, who died in a Terre Haute hospital Sunday evening at 9 o'clock, were held from the Union Chapel Church, near Morton, Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. Whitted underwent an operation at the hospital last Tuesday and succumbed to peritonitis which developed from the operation. Mrs. Whitted was the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. James Terry, who resides west of Roachdale, and was born and reared in that vicinity. She married Lee Whitted, who is a son of Mr. & Mrs. Wm. Whitted of Morton. A small daughter also survives her. She also leaves two sisters, Mrs. T. L. Terry of Putnam Co. and Mrs. Cleve Rogers of Indianapolis, and a brother Virgil Terry of Winchester.
