Dies In Florida
Earl Whitlock of Crawfordsville passed away at Lakeland, Florida Monday morning at 12:10.
Funeral at Hunt's Funeral Home at Crawfordsville at 2:00 p. m. Friday. He can be seen after 2:00 Thursday at the funeral home. Mr. Whitlock has relatives in Greencastle.

Earl A. Whitlock Dies At Age Of 83 In Lakeland, Fla.
Earl A. Whitlock, 83, resident of this community most of his life, died Monday morning at the Lakeland General Hospital in Lakeland, Fla. He had been stricken with a heart attack Saturday night.
Mr. and Mrs. Whitlock, who live at 516 Hubbard St., had been in Florida since Jan. 4 and had intended to return home, later this week.
For a number of years Mr. and Mrs. Whitlock had operated a hearing-aid business here. Prior to that, he had been employed' at the Pearlman Grocery Co., which was located on East Market Street.
He was born Oct. 18, 1882, in Maywood, near Indianapolis. He was married Dec. 26, 1917, to Mary Hodshire, a teacher in the Browns Valley School but who lived in Crawfordsville. His early life was spent on farms in Parke and Montgomery counties.
Mr. Whitlock was a member of the Woodland Heights Christian Church.
The survivors include the widow; a son, Harold Whitlock of Marietta, Ohio; four grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Josephine Powell of Glendale, Calif., and a brother, Omer Whitlock of Crawfordsville.
A daughter, Joyce, died in 1930.
The body is being returned to the Hunt & Son Funeral Home where services are pending.
