WHEELER, Bernadine Morgan - Putnam

El Cajon – Bernardine L. “Penny” Wheeler, 60, died Saturday Dec 22, 2001 at her home.  Born Oct 30, 1941 in Greencastle, Ind she lived in San Diego County for 15 years.  She was a homemaker and involved with the Special Olympics.  Mrs. Wheeler was preceded in death by her mother, Opal M. Davenport; father Charles W. Morgan; brothers, Raymond E. Petters and Edwin Charles Adkisson and the mother who raised her, Madeline P. Davis.  She is survived by her husband, Daniel Lee Wheeler of El Cajon; brothers Donald K. Morgan of Pahrump, Nev; Charles W. Morgan II of Kings Beach, Nev and Larry L. Morgan of Yucaipa; sisters Patricia Koontz of Escondido and Darlene C. Logan of Escondido; cousin Barbara J. Schomer of Tustin and numerous nieces and nephews.  No local services will be held at the request of the deceased. Inurnment will be held at El Cajon Cemetery at 1 p.m. Jan 30. – kbz
