WETHINGTON, James D. - Putnam

ROACHDALE - Funeral services were conducted this afternoon for James D. Wethington, 73, who died at 4 p.m. Friday in his home at Roachdale. He had been ill for a year. Mr. Wethington had resided at Roachdale for about a year and had lived at North Salem prior to that. He had operated a refuse pickup service for several years. He was born Oct 19, 1899, in Kentucky. He was married to Stella M. Johnson. Survivors include six children, Mrs. Ruby Forney of Jackson, Tenn., Mrs. Jessie DePriest, of Evansville, Mrs. Louis Rosen of Waynetown, Carl and Fredrick of Lafayette, and Charles of Texas; a brother, Lonzie of Lafayette, a niece, Pauline Whitaker of Roachdale, and 15 grandchildren.   --- jlr
