Administrator’s Sale – Notice is hereby given that on Thursday, Jan 5, 1865 we will sell at the late residence of Nichlas West, deceased in Franklin Township, Putnam County, Indiana all his personal property not taken by the widow, consisting of Horses, Cattle, Sheep, Hogs Wagon, Buggy, Farming Utensils, Household and Kitchen Furniture and other articles; also a large quantity of winter pasture land may be rented with farming lands.  Terms – On all sums over $5 a credit of 10 months will be given, the purchaser giving his note with approved security waiving valuation and appraisement laws – Sale to commence at 8 a.m. on said day – Marcus D.
