WEST, Milo - Putnam

Milo West, 61, died Tuesday morning of heart disease at his home on State Road 43, south of Greencastle. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Columbus West of near Amo where he farmed in his younger days. He and his family came to Greencastle in 1908 and purchased the farm where he resided at the time of his death. One sister, Mrs. Lucy Harvey, of Clayton, and one brother Henry, of Amo survive out of a family of 8. Mr. and Mrs. West were the parents of a son Ralph, of Greencastle, and a daughter, Mrs. Harold Coffman of Chicago. There is one granddaughter, Bobbe Coffman. Marvin J. West, another son, died at the age of 6. He was a member of the First Christian church of Greencastle.   --- thanks so much to Marilyn Walker for sharing her RT obituary file with us :)
