Arroyo-Grande - Mrs. Lora Esther Walton, 75 died yesterday at her home, 332 S> Mason Street after a long illness. She was born oct 20, 1879 in Indiana and had been a resident of this area for the past 25 years. Coming here from Pasadena. She is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Glendola Bragg, Yoncalla, Ore; Mrs. Margaret Mangum, Klamath Falls, Ore and Mrs. Pearl Ross, Douglas City, Calif; eight sons: Robert Walton, Philippine Islands; John of Sequim, Wash; Morris of Colorado Springs, Colo; Louis of Willow Creek, Calif; Marion of Pasadena; Harold of Potter Valley, Calif; Kenneth and Earl Walton, both of Arcata; three sisters, Mrs. Pearl Lewis, Arroyo Grande; Mrs. Hazel Wells, Long Beach and Mrs. Anna Shane of Amo, Ind; 32 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Wood Funeral Chapel with Rev. Robert Laird of the Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Arroyo Grande district cemetery. – kbz
