WALTON, Vern - Putnam

Vern Walton, 90, Coatesville, passed away Wednesday at Golden Rule Nursing Hone in Danville.

Born in Coatesville, Dec. 8 1890, he was the son of John F. and Ella (Ray) Walton. He married Marie Sechman in 1911 in that town and she survives.

Mr. Walton was a life-long resident of Coatesville and was employed as a painter.

Other survivors are two sons, Dallas, Coatesville, and Randall, New Orleans La.; four daughters, Mrs. Jean Layman, Coatesville, Miss Ruth Walton, Eileen Gritton, and Mrs. June Ax, all of New Orleans; a sister, Mrs. Floy Spencer, Coatesville, two brothers, William and Leonard, both of Coatesville; 28 grand children, 20 great-grandchildren and 0ne great-great-grandchild.

Services will be held at 2 p. m. Saturday at Weaver-Wingler Funeral Home, Coatesville. Friend may call at the funeral home 2-9mp. m. Friday.
