Harry P Vonderschmitt owner of the Voncastle Theater as well as the Granada Theater building in Greencastle died in his home in Bloomington last night. He also owned and operated theaters in Bloomington, Crawfordsville, Noblesville and Bedford in addition to Greencastle,.  Mr. Vonderschmitt was born and reared in Dubois county and early in life worked as a coal miner. In 1918 he opened his first theater in Washington, Ind and later expanded it to additional cities. One of his latest moves was to trade his theater in Washington for the Granada in this city. He was widely known among theater owners and operators in Indiana. He is survived by the widow and a daughter.  The funeral will be held in Bloomington Tuesday afternoon with burial in that city. – kbz
