VICE, John L. - Putnam

John Vice died at the home of his father-in-law, David Knoll, Tuesday evening of Bright's Disease. Deceased was a successful farmer and stock dealer and in this section of the county was highly respected, as he was an energetic, honest young man. Only a short time ago he moved into a nice new cottage on his farm but only to occupy it for a few short weeks. He was a member of the Universalist Church. He leaves a wife and three smal children. Deceased was about 35 years of age. Funeral was held here Wednesday 3 p.m.    --- kbz
