VICE, George W. - Putnam

April 7, 1933 – George W. Vice, who was formerly well known here died at his home in Roachdale on Monday at the age of 70. Mrs. Vice was Miss Mary Frances Spencer, the daughter of John Spencer who lived on W. Main Street in the house now occupied by Frank McClain. He is survived by the widow and one daughter, Mrs. Joseph Rinkard of Castleton. Rev. Cecil Franklin had charge of the funeral on Wednesday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Deere attended the funeral Mrs. Deere is a niece of Mrs. Vice.   ---Submitted by Karen Zach
