Vanlandingham, Josephine Baldwin - Putnam

Josephine Vanlandingham, 79, Greencastle, died Friday afternoon at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.  Born Jan 12, 1906 in Putnam County, she was the daughter of Elisha and Saludie (Jones) Baldwin. She married Orley Vanlandingham who preceded her in death on April 16, 1974.  Mrs. Vanlandingham retired from the food service department at DePauw School Union and had owned and operated the Good Cafeteria on South Vine St.  Survivors include two sons, Robert M, Greencastle and Ronald K. Cookville, Tenn; a daughter, Mrs. Orville (Betty) Nodley, Greencastle; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.  Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle. Interment will be in Brick Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call 2-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
