The death of Miss Goldie Underwood, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roe Underwood occurred Sunday morning at near 9:30 o’clock at her home on West Daggy street. Miss Underwood had been ill of scarlet fever, which had not been properly treated and died of acute bright’s disease, a complication which resulted from the scarlet fever, two hours, after a physician was summoned. She is survived by the father and mother, four younger brothers and one sister, Mrs. Cora Skimmerhorn. The funeral will be held Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock at the residence on Daggy street. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. - kbz
