TUGGLE, Otis J. - Putnam

Otis Tuggle, colored, aged 26 years son of Mrs. Timothy Tuggle of 815 East Hendrix Street died at 11:30 Saturday morning of propsy (dropsy?).  He is survived by the mother, Mary Belle Tuggle, and a sister, Mrs. Levada Cox of this city.  Mr. Tuggle was a graduate of Brazil HS of the class of 24 and was prominent in inter-cholastic athletics.  He played football in 1922, participated in track in 1921-22-23-24 and reached the peak of his career in basketball, playing in 1921-22-23.  Mr. Tuggle had been working in Greencastle for the past 4 years.  His father died three months ago.
