The death of Miss Rubie Troxell, a former Greencastle young lady and student in DePauw University occurred at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. S.P. Troxell, at Bain's Crossing, near Brazil, at 5 o'clock Wednesday evening. The deceased was 26 years old. Death was due to nervous prostration.
Miss Troxell had been in ill health for nearly a year although it was not until about six weeks ago that her condition became critical. At that time she was taken to the Rawley Hospital at Brazil for treatment. She grew gradually worse and was removed to her home a short time ago. On Wednesday morning she appeared to be slightly improved but a relapse which came shortly after noon resulted in her death. Miss Troxell was a sophomore at DePauw at the time she gave up her school work.
The funeral will be held probably Friday morning from the home. The Rev. AM Hootman of Greencastle will have charge of the service.

Troxell, former residents of Greencastle, who died at the Troxell home at Bain's Crossing near Brazil on Wednesday evening, was held at that place Friday morning at 10 o'clock The Rev. AM Hootman, pastor of the Christian Church in Greencastle, was in charge of the services. The body of Miss Troxell was taken to Paxson, Sullivan County the former home of the Troxells, for burial. ---kbz
