TOMLINSON, William Hopwood

William Hopwood Tomlinson, 79 died at his home one miles south of Yeddo at 6 pm. Sunday. He had been in ill health several weeks and seriously ill 10 days. He was a farmer and retired carpenter. Mr. Tomlinson was born Jan 5, 1877 in Putnam County, son of James Joseph and Mary Elizabeth Solders Tomlinson. He married Bernice Sarah Tallman Feb 20, 1929 and she survives. He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Mr. Tomlinson was a member of Carpenters Local 269. Services were held at the Hegg Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Burial was in Lower Mound Cemetery near Covington. – kbz
