TODD, Wesley - CW - KIA - Putnam

Died at Baton Rouge, LA on the 16th day of December, 1864, Wesley Todd of Co E, 1st Ind Heavy Artillery. Thus another of the brave soldiers from Putnam County has passed away – given his life as a sacrifice upon the altar of his country.  May his memory and his noble, patriotic, and manly example ever be cherished by those of his friends and associates who survive him.  - kbz
