TILFORD, Olive - Putnam

Mrs. Olive G. Tilford, 86 years old, died yesterday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. CG Laycock, 522 East 23rd Street.  Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock tomorrow afternoon at the home of another daughter, Mrs. Frederick L. Carter, 3561 North Pennsylvania Street.  Burial will be in Crown Hill cemetery.  Mrs. Tilford was born in Greencastle and came to Indianapolis with her parents when she was nine years old.  Her husband, Samuel E. Tilford, a postal clerk died in 1909.  Besides the two daughters, a son, Russell Tilford of Indianapolis survives. - kbz
