THRIFT, Agness Pickett - Putnam

Mrs. Agnes Pickett Thrift, wife of Thomas Thrift died at her home here Tuesday evening at 7:15 o’clock following a lingering illness of more than 7 months.  She was 53 years of age. She was born near Danville, Ind June 9, 1880, the daughter of Sidney and Anna Pickett. She was married to Mr. Thrift May 7, 1902. She was a member of the Christian Church.  Besides the husband the survivors are: three sisters: Mrs. Alma Wright and Mrs. Maude Poole, both of Indianapolis and Mrs. Clara Goodwin of New Winchester; four nieces; three nephews and an aged uncle.  Funeral services will be held at the Roachdale Christian Church Friday morning Dec 1 at 11 o’clock, Rev. Plew will have charge. - kbz
