THOMPSON, Mary Jane - Putnam

Mrs. Mary Jane Thompson widow, died at the home of Mrs. Marion Hinkle in Greencastle Tuesday.  She was the mother OF William Thomas Kesterson of this city.  Mrs. Thompson was r83 years old and was a native of New York state but the greater part of her life was spent near Greencastle.  She was twice married her first husband being William Kesterson;.  Following his demise she married John R. Thompson who died four years ago.  Besides Mr. Kesterson of Lafayette she is survived by the following children: Daniel W. Kesterson, Greencastle; Mrs. WM Crawley and Mrs. Marion Hinkle, Greencastle; Charles Kesterson, Indianapolis and Mrs. Fannie Andrews, Linden.    Funeral services will be conducted at 1 o’clock Thursday afternoon at Greencastle.  Rev. HC Clippinger will officiate and interment in Putnamville cemetery will be private.  - kbz
