TENNIS, Rosemond Ward - Putnam

Mary Rosamond “Rosie” Ward Tennis, 90, Greencastle, died July 1. She had been a registered nurse for St. Vincent Hospital.  A 1932 graduate of St. Vincent School of Nursing, she was a member of its Alumni Association.  Mrs. Tennis also was a member of Putnam County Senior Citizens. Services: 10 a.m. July 6 in St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Greencastle of which she was a member.  Calling 4-8 p.m. July 5 in Bittles & Hurt & Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle.  Burial: Forest Hill Cemetery, Greencastle. She was the widow of Dr. George T. Tennis. Survivors children Wini Kristufek, George W, Ross “Bob” Tennis; 10 grandchildren 4 great grandchildren.
