Mrs. Leah Taylor, an aged colored woman, residing at No. 310 Sycamore Street, was stricken by paralysis about 5 o’clock this morning. She had been to the meat market in the South End and came back along the Vandalia Rilroad gathering a bag of coal by the way. At the corner of Berry & Crown streets she sank to the ground and was unable to rise. Her son, Kenry Taylor was immediately called and he procured a buggy and took Mrs. Taylor to her home. Dr. Terrell was called and pronounced the shock slight. This is the second paralytic stroke Mrs. Taylor has suffered within three years. - kbz
