TALBOTT, James W. - Putnam

James W. Talbott, 81, died at the home of his son Olta C., near Advance Sunday. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Chastain funeral home in Roachdale, with burial in Roachdale cemetery. He was born near New Maysville December 4, 1855, the son of Lorenzo and Katherine Talbott. He married Elizabeth Burris March 7, 1875. She preceded him in death in 1931. He then took up residence with his son. In addition to the son, a daughter, Mrs. Nellie B.
