TABER, Lucy Whitlow Lambert

Mrs. Lucy Whitlow Lambert Taber passed away Monday evening at the Putnam County hospital. following an extended illness.
She was born in Morgan county near Eminence, on August 13, 1890, the daughter of Jim anil Jane Dorsett Whitlow. Most of her life was spent in that community, and she had lived in Cloverdale for the last several years. Mrs. Taber was a member of the Crown Center Christian Church. Her first husband, Grover Lambert preceded her in death in 1944. Survivors are the husband, James Taber, four sons, Jewell Lambert, Crown Center, Austin Lambert, Attica; Clarence and Roland Lambert, Gosport; one daughter, Lola Mae Lambert; two sisters, Mrs. Sadie Bourn, Martinsville; Mrs. Nellie Shuler, Plainfield; and one brother, Arthur Whitlow of Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock from Whitaker Funeral Home in Cloverdale. Brother Clarence O. Barr will be in charge. Burial will be in the Crown Center cemetery.
