Died in Madison Township on Feb 14, 1864 (sic)
of old age Mrs. Mary Swinford, at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Plummer
in the 90th year of her age. Deceased was one of the oldest
residents of Putnam County and was beloved and respected by a large circle of
