SWANAY, William - Putnam

Russellville News -- William Swanay (sic Swaney) Dead Mr. and Mrs. William Swanay went a month ago to waterloo Iowa to visit their daughter, Mrs. John Allen. Mr. Swanay has been in poor health for some time. He became worse and died on Tuesday. The son, OG Swanay left on Tuesday evening to attend the funeral on Thursday at Iowa Falls. Mr. Swanay was born 77 years ago at Galena, Ill. He is survived by the widow and 5 children, two sons and three daughters. One son died in infancy. He was a member of the Methodist Church. Mr. swanay had lived in Waveland for some time and his pleasant disposition made him many friends who will regret his death.
